    Yep the people who commented on the blog itself also found numbers from 15 to 20, which is why I had it down as 16 (the closest).

  Bit late being the last day but I think I may have figured out the answer of 16 eggs, even though people are finding more. If I don't include the eggs on sold out items, it brings the total back down to 16. If anyone can confirm/deny that theory it would be great. :)
