Saw some cheap kits on Aliexpress but not sure on sizing/delivery times.

    Check out the following:
    Wiggle
    Torpedo 7
    Pushys
    Chain Reaction Cycles
    Probikekit

Aldi usually have bike jerseys for sale a couple times a year, they aren't half bad.

    • Yeah I keep an eye out on them, plus Reid cycles and Ribble etc as well.
I bought the shorts from Aldi when they had bike gear 2-3 weeks ago, but the stitching is already coming loose, that's why i was curious on the Chinese/Aliexpress stuff.

I've bought two off Aliexpress just to see how bad (or good) they are, but the two I have experienced don't fit me well (I'm skinny and the smallest size is quite loose, and the shorts are too short). I also find that the elastic are not stretchy around the legs. The materials feel a bit dense but for $20-30 you get what you pay for. Delivery was around 3 weeks.

However I also saw some claiming to be higher quality/slim fit which goes for $50-60 and you can even customise the graphics. I haven't given them a go so I can't comment…

The sites mentioned above are pretty good, but it really depends on what you want brand, style and price you're after. If I know specifically which product I want I'll just google it to see which store has the lowest prices.

I mainly wear castelli, adidas and champion system team kits but find that only castelli lasts a bit longer than the others. My biggest gripe is that pretty much every single pair of bibs become loose, stitching or bonding falls off in 1/2-1 year. The elastic grips rides up and my tan lines on my legs get exposed. So for that I really don't recommend getting exxy kits that will get worn out in just one year. You might be able to claim warranty but that's a totally different story.

I wouldnt bother, if you look for bargains you can normally find name brand kit in the end of season clearouts for the same price as the cheapo stuff. Also have a look on the Facebook groups like Bicycle Market etc, there are regular sales there of kit, sometimes things others bought online that didnt fit. I have sold kits on there before.

There are often kit bargains on places like http://www.bikebargains.co.uk/top

Often at the end of sreasons you will get a clearout. I bought some great 'ornot' brank kit from BikeBug. Recently Pushys had a sale of a heap of Hincapie kit, $15 a piece, I got 2 jerseys. Last year I bought a Castelli Gabba and knicks in the Sigma Sport clearout from the UK. We are in the primo cycling season at the moment so not sure there will be any big clearouts but after the TDF there will be massive clearouts of stuff. As long as you arent after the latest matching MAAP, Rapha, Blacksheep, DeLord etc boutique kit there are normally loads of bargains going around from reputable shops for propoer kit. Also have a look on sportpursuit they always have cycling kit on sale.

    • OK awesome, this helps a lot, thanks!
