What Happened to the My Dan Murphy's Specials?

When My Dan Murphys launched that had genuinely great specials and they seemed tailored to me after I put my preferences in the web form. Good beer sixpacks for $10 and genuine markdowns of quality wines, to name a few.

Now whenever I get emails listing the My Dan Murphys offers, they're more advertising than something to race into Dan's for. Whatever the reason is, it's stopped me doing my booze shopping exclusively at Dan's, which I used to do when My Dan's was launched.

Anyone else feel this way?

    Yep, I did buy some extra booze from them when it was first launched. Then my SO complained I have more booze in the fridge than I am allowed so I stopped. :D

    Yes, agree with you completely. They had some absolutely fantastic member only offers. Now it just seems to be same, same. I often find First Choice liquor have better prices for wines than Dan Murphy's.

      I do too. There aren't any specials any more, the My Dans offers are just advertising

      I just think they can't compete. There are more and more small liquor stores devoting more space and passion into stocking impressively wide ranges of both local and international crafts. Plus you can head directly to breweries for take aways, and talk to real people with real knowledge and passion for the stuff.

      Dan's is falling behind. Quite tragic in ways but there are plenty more options for us into craft :)
