i cant tell whether buy this sale or the huge pack from costco is more cost worthy?
edit: nvm posted too soon :<
As an FYI , Costco has a 255g pack for $11.69 … so good price from Coles
on sale at costco at the moment for $8.99
Does Costco stock the American made stuff?
Maybe that's the difference between grass feed (AUS) and corn feed (in US and GM potentially).
Tease! What else is on special? Heritage brie/camembert? Kalamata olives? 😊
This stuff tastes like shit. You've been warned. Where's Geronimo jerky deals these days?
Don't know why you got down voted, this is average jerky at best.
he got downvoted for insulting shit.
Huh? You mean some snowflakes got offended?
I got these for the first time today from Woolies because they were on special. I never knew it was possible for jerky to have as much sugar as protein. What a waste I'm not eating this overly sweet crap.
Geronimo is gone. They screwed over a tonne of customers at the end of last year and had to PayPal dispute to get money back.
Their facebook had an update in december saying they were moving premises but no update in 3+ months. I think it's safe to say they're buggered.
I actually like this jerky.
These are terrible.
JL Jerky eh
any other half price promotion?
What pricks I've got a Jim's Jerky order rocking up next week. Oh well I'll probably still get a couple of packs of these but Aldi's Hydale beef jerky is better.
Where the biltong deals!?
I have never had beef jerky what's it taste like
spend $2.27 and find out
Dont go in with high hopes though. Jerky is designed to sustain life, not win culinary awards.
Tough chewy meat - the idea is that the flavour (quite smokey) should be savoured. You chew the pieces (about 1" x 0.5") to get all the flavour.
Its high in salt, so be careful of that. However its high in protein so I do eat a bit of it as a post-workout snack.
It's expensive but you can't eat much of it - as a snack the $/kg price tag is actually reasonable.
This brand uses heaps of sugar and the beef almost becomes gelatinous, very sweet.
So pretty much same as my Mrs cooking
chinese ones or these?
Chinese ones have better flavour tbh.
Tightarse and jerky, it just doesn't get any better than this.
I think I need to make a change from Aldi beef jerky…. $2.99 all the time is expensive….
Oh awesome. Love em but never buy em as I think they're too expensive. Time to buy a bunch 😁
