Can i get please request a deal on a Xiaomi Redmi 4X, thanks.

Target price is a fair AUS$120 based on what i have seen on the web.

BUT first need confirmation that the 2nd. SIM is NOT 2G Network as 2G is getting culled here

    Thanks

    • +4

      let me work it out

    • +1

$120 AU for a 4X? you're joking me, I bought mine on sale for $210 from aliexpress. Even the shittier 2/16GB 4A isn't even that cheap, you must be dreaming.

      • -2

It;s a RMB699 FULL RETAIL in China, US$99, AUS$120 has already been offered, its a entry level phone

My offer is fair and reasonable, anybody who pays more has not done his/her google

        • -1

rmb699 is aud140, wake up dude

        • @rainbowyen:

Seen it on special for AUS$119, my offer is very fair and reasonable

        • @rainbowyen: he said that it's RMB699 full retail, have you never seen a product go below the RRP? I'm guessing once you factor in postage though it's probably reasonable to see this phone on sale for AUD140 delivered.

        • someone please link me, this is just bs you can't get a 4x for $120

        • -1

and the entry level is the 4A wake up idiot, you're thinking of the wrong phone the 4X is the full 3/32gb 5.5"

        • @hakkenaidos: So uh…he proved you wrong…

        • @8200: uh oh thats USD….

        • @hakkenaidos: uh oh thats 140 AUD converted…not on any specified sale. What 8200 is saying is that on sale it should go lower than that…

  • Placed an order and paid, showing up "Address Error" when its the correct address

    • Do you have order number yet? if yes, please pm your order number, I will solve it out.

  • I am getting postage charges,
These deals are great and want to get a heap of things but postage doesn't make it comparative when it isi an extra $9.90+

    • did you untick this Insurance Option for standard delivery ($2.99) ?

      • I don't see any tick boxes for insurance?
        where abouts is it?

    Grabbed a WiFi extender. Cheers.

    good luck with this seller.

my last order contained an item so different it could barely be called similar.

ie not as pictured, not as described and not the same functions.

Apart from being completely different to what you order I expect you'll all be happy!

when it eventually arrives…. ahh Fridays.

    • Hi petry
If you can PM your order details to me, I might able to help you to resolve the issue.

Cant log in to my account now - and no password reset being sent. Another day of shopping square - guess they didn't like the post.

there is the "Forgot Your Password?", if you didn't receive the e-mail to reset password.

Please pm me if it's not working for you.

        • +1

yeah 2 days later they sent me an expired one.

now what was my original post about - poor service I think?

    • +3

if you return it, make sure you get tracking as they will claim they never received it.

      • +1

From an email I got from them regarding a return for a fake item.

They say refunds will incur a restocking + handling fee
If they find a fault, they will post a new or refurbished replacement at their discretion.
If they do not receive it, nothing will happen.
If they do not find a fault, it will be posted back to me COD.

Sigh, almost no point returning it, as it will cost me in one way or another.

        • very true. I opened a paypal dispute and returned it so they couldn't take their grubby restocking fee as paypal give 100% refund

Have had bad experience with a fake sd card, I'll never buy from this lot again.

Anyone able to provide feedback on the Wifi repeater?

  • OP, I am getting PayPal error and end up with 3 unpaid orders.
The order numbers are:62221695, 62221711 and 62221712 for the Sandisk ultra fit.

    • Let me check, I will pm the update to you.

  • so with that Wifi repeater, i can put that in some spots where current wifi is weak in my house? for example at second floor (wifi adsl modem is at first level)? am i correct?

    hmm not really.
so i plug this to my modem at first floor and plug the second device on my laptop at second floor, i will get stronger signal compare with just the modem and laptop?
so i need to buy 2?

    • It's weird this one . It works for android but not always for iphone. Has some issues with it's dhcp allocation or something

      • what? android only?

        • I do t know . Just saying iOS devices has some issues with this from my experience.it will connect but no internet .Works no problems with android and pc

        • @supnigs super skids: ok so need to buy 2 ?

        • @dragonindespair: I just use one for each level. The stick connects to wifi standalone and makes it stronger . Buy 1 if you don't need to extend multiple levels

        • @supnigs super skids: so I insert the stick to my modem at level 1 and all devices in level 2 will get stronger Wifi signal?

        • @dragonindespair: nah I just power the stick from an USB charger. I put it in the stairs of level. You first have to configure the stick to connect to your wifi first and then it will make wifi better for that level. If you have 3 levels, buy 3 sticks and place at stairs for each level

    • You should just buy one, you could fiddle around with the antenna on the modem or placement of it, that can help.

  • Hi OP,

Any Deals on the xiaomi mi TV Box?

    Cheers!

  • Bought the USB car charger, but selecting shipping insurance by default (opt-out, not opt-in) is a really scummy option.

definitely wouldn't trust one plugged into my car/router/tv.

    • Yes it does work on non Xiaomi routers! The mi home app needed to set it up is entirely in Chinese but there are basic translation guides online

Hello OP, can you advise if the WiFi extender is the Chinese or English version please? I understand that there are the two different versions, and although some reviewers say that you can still configure it watching a Chinese setup video on YouTube, I would prefer to hear that this is an English version, I could not see on your site where that is indicated, but I can see both versions on the GearBest site who are also having a two day flash sale of this product, for 65cents more (With selectable English and Chinese during order).

    • for some reason the GearBest English version is retailing for $18.66AU while the Chinese edition is marketed at $10.66AU …

      • +3

@mutantx Yes I know, but I assume that it is not just a different language app as some sites say, it must be hardware dependent on language too. As the OP did not get around to a reply, and I was already looking for an extender/ repeater anyway, I ended up buying a unit through AliExpress (and 7% cashback) for this unit: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Wireless-Wifi-Repeater-300Mb… , There are several different sellers doing this same unit, and there are plenty of reviews from real people that give me some confidence that it is a good buy, even though it is only $13.84 before the 7% off (I know this is more than this unit price, so not comparing apples with apples), that the AliExpress unit which plugs into an Aus power socket is easy to use/ setup and runs on AC power instead of needing USB power socket too. plus it has the added ability either amplify your signal of your current WiFi router or plug into an Ethernet point elsewhere in the home and WiFi/ hotspot from that point out.

        Specs:
        Type: Wireless Router,Repeater
        Interface: RJ45
        Transmission Rate: 300Mbps
        WIFI Transmission Protocol: 802.11b/n/g
        Wireless Security: 64/128 Bit WEP,WPA-PSK,WPA2-PSK
        Support System: Windows XP,Windows 7,Windows Vista,Mac OS,Windows 2000

      Hi petry
Was there any issue with your purchase with us before. If it didn't resolved, You can pm me, I will try to help.

  • not resolved- not going to be resolved because the company is totally hostile.

    • +1

How did it go? I'm in the same boat hoping for a resolution on a fake sd card.

      • Can you do recharge on your credit card because goods are different to what I ordered?

The ss are unfit - paypal currently useless. Your card company is your friend unless its bankwest.

  • Zero communication from these people.

Havent heard anything from them in 11 days.

Will be lodging a Paypal dispute and complaint with Paypal.

    Horrible.
