Giving away my Acidik - Wearable Audio Visualizer app again, completely free including in-app purchase to disable ads at $0.
If you haven't already tried the app, please use it in complete darkness with headphones whilst laying down. I prefer to close my eyes as it is more relaxing, the light will pulse through your eyelids and creates some surreal effects.
Note: Not recommended for epileptics or those people with other photosensitive conditions.
Acidik prefers music with a decent beat although will work with any genre, the effect will vary though. Works best with 4-5 inch iDevices. Larger iPhone Plus sizes seem to have an issue with scaling that reduces the effect somewhat, but will still work to a degree.
DRM files and streaming audio not supported due to Apple restrictions. If you are attempting to play a local song from your iPhone and the app is not reacting to the audio then it likely a pre 2010 song that has DRM, try downloading the file again from iTunes and you should receive a DRM free version (ie: no copy protection).
Here's a promo video to show you what to expect, hard to describe unless you use it yourself though. https://youtu.be/LWQrO8OBSQY
I'll be offline for most of the weekend camping but if you have any questions then I'll do my best to answer them. Hope you guys enjoy.
Great app for when your getting dental work done. Really distracts from the sound of a thousand wasps grinding away at your teeth when the dentist does her thing
