What's the issue? I really like the taste of that one. A steal at this price.
It's a pretty average lager, not double hopped which is a misnomer anyway.. its cool if you like lager but if you're after a hoppy beer and bought it based on the label, you'd be disappointed
Ok, I don't know much of the science of brewing but I reckoned it had a lot more taste than other lagers which are usually close to water
Sounds double hopped by the description… hopped in the kettle, then again in the whirlpool. ( not sure what the whirlpool is)
An Australian lager, brewed at Ultra high gravity, hopped with a combination of Superpride and US nugget for bitterness, in the kettle, and then again in the whirlpool with the German Perle hops for a herbal/spicy…
@PVA: Made by liquorland ie Coles
@PVA: It's a Liquorland homebrand beer trying to cash in on the craft beer market. All beers are "double hopped" in the sense they're using the term.. most have hops added at different times. They don't mean they're adding double the hops :(
For the record I've voted up the deal because the price is right, I just think if you were a big hoppy beer fan and you bought this on that description you'd be very disappointed. Price is right for a normal lager though, no need for all the flowery fake marketing
@Wampus:
I understand, but I reckon they all overstate a bit what the drink really is, even Coke.
Most is a lifestyle not taste that's advertised.
They have some wines 6 for $36 atm too. Counting Sheep SB isn't bad.
Mcwilliams-Inheritance Shiraz Cabernet are 6 for $24

Good one. The free ship code also worked for wine casks.
Not bad prices… almost got suckered in by the Urban Crusader until I read reviews. Man the big boys really do play fast and loose with some beer terms.
