Feeling so angry at myself - all my own fault too I know it.

Got busy yesterday afternoon at work and was looking at flights but then got distracted and didn't buy them ……obviously sale ended yesterday and today they are $120 each more expensive . Wahhhh I know doesn't sound like much but - 4 person family that's nearly $600 more and part of our spending money - so angry, annoyed, sad :(

Can anyone make me feel better - or any bright ideas on saving any money - discount on Jetstar flights, cash back.maybe ?

    You haven't said where you are going, where from or when. There are some eagle-eyed OzB users out there that might be able to assist if you give them more info!

    Luckily I booked one side of the trip already via FF points - so it's just Denpasar to Perth on the 29th April - was really hoping for something late in the day to take advantage of staying the whole day. I was looking at the Jetstar flight leaving at 6.30pm - when I looked yesterday it was $200 per person now $320 per person give or take. Not flexible in date either.
    I know, suck it up haha

        As a guide next time book the flight and select bank deposit. This will allow you a few days to search for cheaper flights, hotels and plan your itinerary. If it doesn't work for you then let the deal expire. Win-win.

        On a positive note Jetstar has 20% off rewards redemption atm. If you have enough points I'd say go for that deal.

    Have a look at some of the comparison websites - Webjet etc will give you a great idea on the different airlines because specifically sticking with Jetstar might not be your best option. Although if you do find a cheaper flight than Jetstar you can ask them to match the price (disclaimer: they must be similar time).
