  • I think Calling card's are useless, when you have your own landline phone. They have 30 cents flagfall and charges are unpredictable. they have hidden surcharges and disconnection fees. They can be good for long calls but not for short calls.

    I use http://www.localphone.com.
It has 0.15 dollars (1.5 cents) flat rate. no disconnection fee, no surcharge. direct no. to the destination.

      Hi
      0.15 dollars means 15 Cents.
      Isn't it bit expensive.

      Thanks
      Shah

      • whats the flagfall and/or connection/disconnection fee on this?

  • Yay now we can call all the telco call centres direct & cheaper :-P

  • What a joke.

-SERVICE FEE OF 6 CENTS IS CHARGED ON THE DAY WHEN THE PHONE CARD IS FIRST USED AND DAILY THEREAFTER
-FINAL CALL CHARGES ROUNDED UP TO THE NEAREST 5 CENTS
-DISCONNECTION FEE OF 8 CENTS APPLIES FOR EVERY CALL GREATER THAN 5 MINUTES

It says on the page that:

EXPIRE 3 MONTHS AFTER FIRST USE

But in the terms and conditions it says:

THE $10 CARD HAS A VALIDITY OF 1 MONTHS FROM FIRST USE OR LAST RECHARGE
