    Good deal, but still waiting.
Its been over a year since the last 50 off 99 deal.

  • any OPSM deals coming up?

  • Been waiting for a deal from them!

  • Not sure if FRIEND20 can still be used :)

      I can't because I have no friends. 😭

Best price on contacts .. order on Clearly and ask them to price match Quicklens. That way you get the best price AND an invoice valid for Aus health insurance. Don't believe me?? Find me a better price than $27.90 for a box of 6 Air Optix Aqua WITH an Australian receipt. (Specsavers is $29.50 for a box of 3 lenses) Cheers .. :-) .. !!

    • At least for my contacts (1 Day Acuvue Moist for Astigmatism) Quicklens are the same price as Specsavers ($35 for 30) and Clearly a couple of dollars more ($37 for 30). Get 5 boxes on this offer and it comes down to $25 for 30. Still prefer the 50 off 99 deal obviously :).

    • Do they have an Australian provider number? My previous Clearly orders werent accepted because they were Canadian or something.. this was years ago thouh.

      • Specsavers do have a provider number so you should have no problems claiming via private health insurance.

Edit: Sorry, just realised that your question was referring to Clearly not Specsavers.

      • No problems with Clearly insurance claims in my experience over the last ten years ..

OK that's surprising… they're willing to pricematch to half their list price! How do you go about it? Do you pay postage?

Having a look it appears that clearly are approved by most healthfunds

So, that would work out at $4.65/lens for you,
This specsavers deal would be $7.06/lens,
The OPSM buy 3 get 1 free (always on) is $6.58/lens
(I use Air Optix Aqua too)

To use the Clearly pricematch just place your order and then call them up. They will recredit the difference back to your card. I've been using this offer since 2013 ….

'Our Price Match Guarantee means that we will match any authorized price for your contact lenses with any of our online competitors. We’ll also give you an additional 5% off the competitor’s total up to a maximum discount of $300 per order.'

And yes, they will make good on the offer even if the level of discount seems insane .. :-) .. !!

        • I tried to get a Price Match from Clearly (Nick) today against this deal from Specsavers, but didn't get it.
He said that Specsavers is not just an online store, but have physical stores so doesn't qualify. He also said that Specsavers is not even in the list in the system.
          Boo!

        • @chateatsblog: Why Specsavers?? Clearly WILL pricematch Quicklens who usually have the lowest prices around …. ??

    • Used this method and bought a year's worth of contacts fully covered by insurance! Amazing thank you.

      • ur welcome :-) .. !!

Got 5 boxes of Accuvue lens from them and disappointed with few pairs of lenses from each box as they are blurring my vision and irritate my eyes. I raised a complaint but no response received from them yet. Not recommended.

you sure you didn't insert them upside down ? (This feels uncomfortable straight away for me)
or have eyelash/other fine dust/dirt stuck in under the lens ? (The clean way is to use lens solution to wash it out, otherwise I usually throw it out)

All the years I've been using Accuvue from specsavers and other suppliers, they have been fine.

      • Nah mate. I'm using it since years and I'm sure I haven't put that upside down. I have washed it a lot of times but still, it's blurring!

        • Maybe you should call J&J
