Mobile Phone Insurance for Non Permanent Residents

Hello everyone,

I am looking for some mobile phone insurance for a Samsung Galaxy S8 that I have recently purchases. Most of them require me to be an Australian permanent resident of which I am not.

Does anybody know of any companies that provide insurance to non-residents?

I purchased the Samsung Galaxy S8 through Woolworths Mobile because of the great offer that they currently have.

        That's crazy.

        Instead of paying to insure a single low value item it would be better to just buy a new phone in the event that it breaks.

          The Samsung Galaxy S8 is $1199 brand new, hence why I am asking for mobile phone insurance. It really isn't cheap and I couldn't afford to replace it.

    Do you have any travel insurance for being over here? Could it be included under that?

      I do have insurance but it doesn't cover mobile phones.

    So, maybe look into

    Insure your mobile from TROV and you can insurance most of ur electronics.

          In your case, it's not worth it.

          Instead of paying to insure a low value item like your SE, it would be better to just buy a new phone in the event that it breaks.
