How to transfer mobile number from Virgin Mobile to Kogan?

Hi Guys,

Need some help here as I never transferred num before. I have been on Virgin Mobile prepaid plan for last few years.

I got a kogan plan from recent 30%off deal - $10.36 / 1GB ($125.93 upfront, Was $179.90)

Can someone please share the steps here to transfer/port this by keeping same mobile number?

Buy a Kogan SIM.

Activate online or on phone and specify that you want to port your existing number.

  Thx, is there anything i need to inform to virgin mobile first that im moving? Or to avoid any issues for porting?

    Your account details at Virgin Mobile need to be the same as the account details you provide to Kogan for the port to be successful, such as your name and date of birth.

No need to inform Virgin just to promptly pay their final bill if appropriate.

I've ported 2 phones from Virgin to Kogan. Both were out of contract period already so it was simply a matter of selecting to port a number on Kogan's site and putting my phone number in. Ported within like 15mins both times.
