BUdget is $50 each but can extend a bit
2nd hand posible, brand new you will find until you move again.
if you are talking brand new for $50 of those, i'm interested to know too because it would be a fabulous deal!
Since you mention you're in Melbourne, you could go to a Grays Online auction (a real in-person one, not the online auctions). I went to the one in Cheltenham over the weekend and they had a section for electrical appliances. Whilst there were some products that were insurance salvage items (eg: kettles with their cords cut off), there were also brand new in-the-box items.
I picked up a $45 Breville 1.7L kettle for $5.75. Someone purchased a brand new vacuum cleaner for $25 (actually, they bought two of them at that price). I can't recall the brand specifically other than I remember thinking it was not a major name like Electrolux / Dyson, but for that price, I wouldn't expect gold-plated either.
They did have microwaves as well but the auction for that was running simultaneously with the auction for home renovation materials and my interest was the latter so I have no idea what microwaves sold for.
Edit: Remember to check prices in stores before you go. I watched people pay $115 for a shower head that's only $90 in Bunnings because they got caught up in the fever of the auction and didn't understand how it worked.
I also was initially confused by all the people that snapped up the insurance salvage kettles at $10-$20 when they first started auctioning the kettles. After all, they were buying kettles with the cord cut off - they would need to do some electrical work before they could be used. I think because those people saved $3 on the catalogue, they were unaware of how many kettles there were so everyone grabbed them as they saw them initially but I just waited a little longer and then was the only bidder for my kettle (which was a brand new in-box full-cord product!).
Thanks buddy, this surely was great help
I'm sure without any limitation on price we could find you anything.
