Mountain Designs 20% off All Black Diamond Headlamps - Black Diamond Storm Headlamp $79.95

60

I needed a headtorch for a trail run tonight which lead me to this deal - Not the absolute best price out there but is the best price I could see from a physical store in my area. If anyone else isn't into waiting for shipping from the US or similar then this might be up your alley too.

Note: Deal requires a Free Mountain Designs Club membership to redeem.

Gizmo - $35.95
Cosmo - $51.95
Iota - $63.95
Spot - $63.95
Storm - $79.95

As I said, this is only considered a bargain if you want a local store to go into. You can definitely find it cheaper if you are willing to wait for postage.

Try running an ultramarathon and having your cheap chinese headlamp failing on you in the middle of a forest at 3AM and after 80KM of running. Thats the market that some of these are aimed at.

I love my Diamond Spot. May need to upgrade to the Storm. Another good place to buy is from Amazon when they have their specials, if you can wait

    • I used to think exactly this, then my girlfriend bought this exact model for a night hike she's doing.

I borrowed it the other night to head down to Cape Schanck at night for some photography; this thing is awesome. It's not only got a very decent white light, it's also got a very bright, adjustable (all through a single button, no fumbling about) red light, which means you can quickly check camera settings without killing your night vision, or even wind it right up and use it to navigate while still massively reducing the time your eyes take to adjust back to dark vs the white light.

Seriously, this is actually worth the money if you've got a similar use case.
