Hey guys, just moved into a granny flat and rent privately from the owner who lives in the house. They do not have an intetnet connection.
Can anyone tell me the best option for internet without a fixed connection? Have always had a broadband connection and this is new to me. Thanks so much.

How long do you plan to stay there? I'm in the same situation and your options are OVO, Vividwireless and Optus
OVO - 60 bucks a month for 50GB (can only charge once a month), unthrottled 4g network
Vividwireless - 90 bucks a month unlimited downloads. 180 upfront for the modem (offsetted because when you buy the modem you get 1 month free and also if someone refers you you will get another month free), 10 down/1up
Optus - 80 bucks a month for 200GB. 240 upfront for the modem. depending on location either 12 down/1 up or 5 down/1 upNote that all the plans above are month to month which can be cancelled at any time.

I literally live 25 mins out of Melbourne CBD and get internet better then 2.5 megabits per second
Vivid Wireless do fixed wireless which is what you want.
Potentially staying ~6 months.

Probably no real blackspot issues in the Hunter Valley, but worth checking.
