Melb Comedy (MICF) Via PromoTix

Hi Guys,

Who's scored some tickets for the comedy festival through promo tix? Tix are $7/9 for a pair and we've bought tickets to four shows so far. Missed Wil and Amos though sadly! A little bird told me that they add shows around 11am, 2-3pm and in the evening, keep your email alters turned on!

Thought I'd create this board for us to share what we saw and if we'd recommend it. I'll start:

It has to be perfect (Anna Morris) - A full on audience participation show, it's a wedding. The ending is a bit weak. Guys if there aren't many of you, you will be picked upon. Don't be late to this one. Quite entertaining after a few drinks this one.

Comedy Hypnosis (Issac) - A bit repetitive, and full of actors. A try once thing (hypnosis that is).

What are you seeing? What have you seen?

Comments

  • Not seeing any, but it's interesting to see how they're giving away these tickets. I just hope people aren't scalping them because they're selling out very quickly.

    • They need to fill seats I'd say.

  • Saw Arj Barker last night - wasn't good as he usually is but can't complain for only $8.95 for two tickets!

  • Saw Dave Hughes and Merrick Watts last two days.

Seeing Wil Anderson tonight and Comedy Hypnosis on Sunday.

Loving Promotix so far - been a member for a while, but nothing really good came on there till now.

  • Lettuce Do This (Xavier Michelides) - Quite entertaining we'd recommend this.

The Lucky Ones (Rama Nicholas) - We've seen a few of her shows, and while this one isn't the best of them, it's quite entertaining at the price. It's a thesaurus of a show!
