What Is The Best Value Mobile Internet for a Traveler in NSW?

I have friends who plan on traveling around NSW in a van for anywhere from 3-12 months. They have a plan they really like for calls & text but not data (this plan charges ridiculous $$ for data). What would be the best option for a data plan that allows them to watch movies and surf hassle-free?

  you would have to get anything Telstra only because of service in remote areas.
