Guys, I have recently got galaxy s7 from a very own ozbargain deal and very keen to get a gear VR. I want to know what is the real life use for it? I have used cheaper VR from China which I thought worked well with a Lenovo phone and split screen feature. Without the split screen feature, does the gear VR has a very limited use? I am not sure how the technology works without the split screen and I don't want to get another subscription of a service or games that I already own.

If you can pick the Samsung one up cheap then yes, get one. But don't pay full price for it as you'll probably use it for five minutes and get bored with it once the novelty wears off.
The cheap, non-Samsung ones are pretty awful.
