Does anyone know what the data limit (if any) is on "Paperwhite 3, 3g + wifi" for the kindle that gives you lifetime access to data?
Also, how user friendly is it?
Is it ok for emergencies only, or meant to be used just for downloading books.
Amazon online chat advised that its unlimited, but I find this difficult to believe.

Thanks simba24. Appreciated
You used to be able to view a REALLY basic version of facebook (we're talking years ago, I haven't tried since my first Kindle (I'm on number 4 now… Those screens don't like being leaned on). Email was possible but eye gougingly painful to use. Most practical use really is to buy and download books.
I replaced a screen a few weeks ago. About $22 for the replacement and 10mins with a screwdriver = good as new.
Ah, geeze… Thanks for that… I'll keep it in mind when I inevitably break my current one (and I'll start looking for my old ones too… but I think I think them out).
Thanks Adz81. Appreciated
I had a v3 with the keyboard with cellular, and it was modem 2g speeds.
As others have said, it was unlimited, but not really usable for anything but downloading books.
As a emergency back-up when travelling I suppose it might be mildly useful, but it was so cumbersome to use it isn't practical.Thank you mskeggs
I've read that it's 50 MB a day of 'anything' browsing/download. Unlimited really only for Amazon.com related activities.

It is unlimited but it only allows you to download books from the Amazon store. There's also an experimental browser which gives you access to wikipedia but I think that's as far as it goes
