Just installed Xilisoft DVD Ripper trial Version. $55.95USD (found to be best and fastest ripper)
Bit too expensive so uninstalled.
Was then presented with Trialpay options.
Chose Bigpond Movies to get 10 movies free for the first month and can cancel anytime without paying anything. Did have to enter CC details, but can cancel straight away with no charge at all.
Got the serial for Xilisoft immediately, and some DVD's in the mail from Bigpond.

Mailed out DVD's.
I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to say in your paragraph.. Where's the bargain? Free DVD Ripper with Bigpond Movies signup?
No link?
On another note.. a bit of a strange combination.. DVD ripper with signup of a DVD rental service.. some would say that, that's just encouraging people to pirate the DVDs..
Xilisoft DVD Ripper is $55.95USD.
Download the trial version of software, and install. (that's free)
Then uninstall it, and it will prompt for the Trialpay option.Sign up to bigpond or Snapfish, or any of the other options and you get to keep the software for free.
You can immediately end the subsciption to Bigpond Movies. Or order 10 movies in the first month and then end it.
Seemed like a deal to me.
Ahh.. I see.. well then, it certainly seems like a deal.. Although for me personally, the software isn't that useful.. but certainly a deal for those who's looking for free software along a few free rentals!
Just wonder same deal for Mac version? Anyway + from me
Good but 3 Editions available. Assume you are talking about the Ultimate editions for $55.95. Will it always prompt you to that Trialpay option when uninstalling?
yep the ultimate edition is the one i got.
Anyone know of a good free DVD ripper that allows me to put a DVD on single file to play through my Astone 360T Media Player? Kids are sick of using all the discs and want to be able to play from the Media Player. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
This will convert to just about any file format playable on most devices.
And the files created are single files.
Give it a try. I find it to be awesome. Thanks Jason. Sounds exactly like what I'm after! Cheers
does anyone know how i can convert to file that preserves the dolby digital 5.1 audio?
I tried this and could not find the bigpond movies as an option for trailpay… best I could see was snapfish where you get 20 free prints but have to order them (and therefore pay for postage) before the trailpay activates. :(
Also to be slightly clearer. When you go to uninstall, it asks you something like "Would you like this software for free?".. by clicking Yes it goes to the trial pay thingy, otherwise click No and it uninstalls as normal.
