  The shoe prices have gone up considerably (25-30% in 2-3 years) without any improvements in quality.

  Expect to throw these out after 6 months to a year of regular wear.

    I got onto these a few years ago due to their 50% off every shoe, and recommendation/positive feedback for this community. But yeah I think I need a new shoe brand. :(

    Agreed. I got some and used them lightly for a couple of months (maybe 10 wears) then wore them overseas and they fell apart after a month. The outsole literally came apart and pieces fell out. Won't be buying again.

    I have been wearing Florsheim since 2001, non-stop. They used to last me 3+ years, but this has decreased, and especially the inner sole has started falling apart faster. I also had the leather come apart from the sole, but they provided me with a new pair as part of warranty.
    Overall, I still get more mileage out of my money compared to a cheaper brand.

    If you're going to be buying rubber soled shoes you may as well get a $30 pair from kmart or target. Leather soled shoes are designed to last years and I'm a big fan of Florshiems leather soled shoes. Purchased a pair over 3 years ago which after wearing them every second work day and a resoling just last week is still going strong.

        After a quick peruse of the clearance items only this and these are leather soled. Generally the leather soled dress shoes from Florsheim are over $300 RRP while rubber soled are around and under $200.

  Not a bad price for full grain leather shoes. Annoying that these fall under the $100 free postage threshold.

    These are corrected grain which is how they get the high shine without needing polish

      I'm just going off the product listing, that claims a full grain upper.
