Should probably hit the upvote button on the deal then.

  • Thanks OP - bought skyrim. I never used CDKeys before but I found it a bit BS that they wanted to verify my mobile number after I made my purchase.. Is this normal? I'd never given them my number in the first place, so what would they be verifying? If I didn't have a mobile, I wouldn't be able to access my purchase.

    • You don't have to do that, it's skippable. You will still be sent the key.

Prob best if the OP could edit the post to include that, happens every time a deal from cdkeys.com gets posted. Happened to me too once a while back.

      • how do you skip it?

My mistake. It looks like this time it's a 2 step verification where they send you a code to your phone and you need to put that into the browser. It's not the same as it was about a year ago with cdkeys.com.

In the past if you didn't provide a number and waited the CD key would be sent to your email within ~10 minutes.

  • Should I get the special edition rather ?

    • I think the Special Edition would be a better investment :)

At this point in time Legendary Edition is more moddable (and thus the better choice if you want anything besides vanilla or quality of life mods) but Special Edition might be the better choice in the future as soon as they can get the script extender running as it offers better performance and 64 bit support which will benefit modding immensely

WARNING: Maybe just for me but just purchased the Skyrim key and was not able to activate on Steam. Have emailed Cdkeys to try to resolve but word of warning to others. Hopefully it's just me and I was unlucky

    • Skyrim key worked for me, hopefully they can fix up your issue soon.

    Brilliant, works perfectly. Purchased Skyrim

Legendary edition is just Skyrim with all DLC, if you already have that then no need to purchase, silly me didn't research.

    • +2

Ohhhh… Glad you mentioned that, I had it confused with the recent remastered Special Edition… can you still upgrade Legendary to Special for free?

Was waiting for skyrim to drop in price.

Fantastic… thanks for saving me a few dollars that i can spend on something else.

I'll wait for the $80 Switch version. /s

  • So I purchased Skyrim (paid with PP express). Order shows as 'complete', but I can't find anywhere else on my account pages referring to the key.

I'm not shown the 'My Downloadable Products' section.

Any idea where else I may need to look for it?

I also bought Skyrim with Paypal. The link to the key showed up in my email address.

Edit: Thanks, found it. I just noticed the 'Download' link at the bottom of the email, which contradicts the info they list first up.

          @ReallyNeedThis:

LOL, it just joined the other 159 games on the account which never get played.

          Damn you OZB. :)

  • Wolfenstein TOB is "back in stock" but with an $8.19 price tag pre discount.
