Online too - but $13.90 delivery fee kinda kills it

    • +1

      Not available for delivery.

    • $9.90 delivery for me.. ouch

    • I get "Out of stock online" for FCP… A shame, as I wanted this but I'm overseas for a bit :)

  • Nationwide? Website showing $25 for The Division.

  • +1

Got two games for $29.9 delivered.
    Thanks OP.

    • +1

Both have been showing "Apologies for the inconvenience, but this item is out of stock online." for me since the deal was posted.

I would also like to get both delivered as my local ones have no stock.

      • +1

Don't know why, but I can still add them to my cart~
EDIT: Find out you just have to change your post code location for 'Home Delivery' then you can add them to cart. Both 2000 Sydney and 3000 Melbourne are working.

  • Anyone tried price matching at eb?

    • +3

EB told me they wont price match if there isn't a Big W within the same suburb.
I walked around the corner to a JB and they price matched.

Not sure if it's EB's policy but I guess they don't want my $.

      • +2

EBgames is hit and miss and all depends on the store staff. When i tried to pricematch at Wollongong store they said NO because there was no Big W in the same shopping centre! When i told them where its mentioned on there website that it must be within the same shopping centre, they just ignored me. Never going back there.

        • Classic EBGames. They crap on about some BS that they are not considered to be there competitions due to location

They way I see it I live in west brisbane. If I go into the CBD EBgames and state that Bigw at Mt Ommaney (approx 10km away) is doing blah it doesnt matter if there isnt one if the area, they are still there compertition. If they refuse to pricematch then I just go there…its pretty simple.

          …ok now breath.

      • Just wondering which store was it (suburb)?

        • +1

          Glen Waverley

I just picked up 2 copies of The Division from Prahran. There's 5 copies left on the shelf as of posting this.

    • 2 copies left on the shelf.

  • Far Cry Primal is out of stock online

  • +3

Primal is a fantastic game for $10. I bought two cheap copies from JBHifi on release for myself and my brother, no regrets. I'm replaying it now on Survivor mode (patched in after release) on a 34-inch ultrawide, it's gorgeous and a lot of fun. Highly recommended if you're into the series or if you like the idea of running around as a caveman in a prehistoric spear-em-up.

    • +2

+1 for possibly inventing the genre "spear-em-up" :)

  • +2

Aren't these two of last years dullest games?

    • +3

Never played the division but I know primal is just a reskinned Far Cry 4 on the exact same map. Can't really go wrong when it's $10 though..

      • To be fair the map isn't the exact same, it's been modified to the point where you wouldn't realise it unless you look at the maps side by side (I certainly didn't realise it until I saw an article about it). Despite the similar map Primal is really more original than 4 - it shakes up the formula with the weapons and the setting, whereas 4 was basically Far Cry 3: Nepal edition.

As for The Division… yeah, it's a bit dull, I'm sure you'd get $10 worth though.

    • +1

The division was fun but didnt keep me coming back for long

Was never really interested in Farcry but at $10 I think they are well worth the price

  • Can I assume this is only U play and not steam. I'm ok with it, but just would like to know

    • Would like to know the answer to this too

      • I believe it is UPlay for all Ubisoft store bought games

        • Even Steam bought Ubisoft games like Farcry 4 still require UPlay :(

        • @c0balt: that is correct, but atleast it will show up in steam and then launch Uplay.

Gonna assume this is fully uplay

  • +1

Can this be redeemed through Steam?

    • No, UPlay - Ubisoft.

    • uPlay

  • They had The Division at BigW in Brisbane CBD but no Far Cry- price was not marked either.

  • My local BigW barely has any games in their store, walked straight to JB and got a price match. thanks op

  • My bigW didn't have stock so i went to pricematch at ebgames and they had no stock either, But they would have pricematched.

    • +1

      …..Or did they have stock………..

  • Love The Division

  • is division worth the time and effort? my brain says waste of time….

  • The Division is awesome if you have a consistent squad to play with. Considering that all the content/ expansions they release this year will be FREE, you can't go wrong. Yes it didn't live up to the hype, but I clocked over 200 hours playing the game (on all difficulties and Dark Zone mayhem!)

    • Where did it say that this year's expansion releases will be free?

    • I enjoyed the beta. Are players more likely to be backstabbing bastards or honourable comrades in the Dark Zone? or is it 50/50 depending on the day?
Having a squad removes some of the paranoia I suspect :)

    • I like the game but the content they have planned for this year is a joke even if it is free

  • Thanks! Got myself a copy from big w. Another one to add to the list of games I haven't been able to play yet!

  • Success at Woden JB hi-fi price match

  • Great site under maintenance.

  • +1

Could someone post a JB price match receipt?

  • Managed to grab Primal from Big W Southland and grabbed Division from JB using Big W website as price match

  • +1

I bought a copy of Primal from BigW but no division, so went jb and they couldn't price match, so went to ebgames and showed the guy the deal and he was shocked and priced matched it, told my mates about it and went to buy 2 more copys of each game for them, this is at watergardens shopping centre, big w has 3 copy of Primal left and no division, ebgames has no more copies of division but still has Primal left, cheers guys, great deal!

  • Got The Division at Doncaster, probably about 7-8 left on a shelf at the back. Didn't see any copies of Farcry Primal.

  • For games like these, if I don't have a CD-drive, are there keys inside that would let me redeem directly from U-play?

    • Yes it does

      • Farcry was 20gb but that includes the HD textures pack which is about 3.5gb

  • The Division wasn't worth $60+ and still isn't worth $10. Save your money folks.

    • +1

That's a big rough. Granted it didn't match the hype but was still a solid game. Has a meta of 79

  • 1 copy of Farcry and 2 copies of The Division left @ BigW Mandurah (WA)

  • you can buy the key for PC for 24.59 so no delivery fee
from cd keys - used them for various purchases
they even answer emails until you get it fixed - I thought I had a problem with DLC on a game but it was my error on steam!

  • I found it in the same BigW, would love to get my hands on Primal, until I remembered the whole UPlay shit with retail ubisoft games, put it back down and walked away!

    • Uplay isn't all that bad these days. I've had it installed since the Ubi30 promo and whilst it was sluggish a few months back, atm it works much like Origin does. I've been playing Wildlands heaps lately and haven't had any issues.

  • Good deal. For those who play Wildlands, assuming the Division costume pack is unlocked much like the Future Soldier one, this would be a cheaper way to get it compared to forking out money for in game currency.

  • Glad I didn't buy this at launch; Wanting to play, but not willing to pay for what is to Farcry 4, what Blood Dragon was to Farcry 3.

Not being a greedy bastard so I only grabbed one copy, and as such still one more left at Big W watergardens as of 3pm this afternoon.

  • My local stores have no stock. Does anyone in Sydney know of any that do?

Plus my local EB won't match clearance prices.

Didn't bother with JB, as I was under the impression they don't do price matches (?). Perhaps should have tried.

    • JB will price match Big W, as long as the nearest competing store has stock.

    • Top Ryde, Macquarie Park, and Campsie Big W don't have stock. Campsie had some yesterday (1 copy of The Division and 2 copies of Primal), but I bought them.

Later in the day I stopped at EB in World Square, saw they had The Division for $69, and asked if they price match Big W. The guy who served me was surprised Big W had it for $10, but was happy to price match it. Maybe I was just lucky that guy served me.

It might be worth calling other Big W branches in the area to see if they have stock (Campsie's only stock was in a drawer behind the counter out of sight). Alternatively, just go from EB to EB store seeing if they'll price match.

  • Went to try price match Far Cry in JB Warringah Westfield. They said no because they would be losing too much money.

They have it priced at $49.

  • +1

Picked up the last copy of Farcry Primal at North Lakes in QLD yesterday. Thanks Britta!

  • No stock of either in Newcastle or Charlestown, NSW. the Division is now back to $55 online. Oh well!

    • -1

      Back to $10 online again.

  • My order got refunded. :(

    • +1

      How rude!!

      • I ordered the games 25 minutes after the deal was posted. Looks like the online orders are not going to get fulfilled.

        • Wow!

Looks like I was lucky that it wouldn't let me purchase online and had to go into a shop to get it.

But turns out I am unlucky as I purchased 2x The Division and both me and my partner lost interest after an hour or so of playing :/

        • @c0balt:
I probably will wait for Humble Bundle as I usually saw them bundle the game after I bought them…

  • Went to Eb games and asked if they price beat. The guy said no but he then said 'we do price match'. So I showed him the pic and he says sorry can't go this low. No wonder I haven't bought anything from them in a long time.
Anyway, went to Jb and they were more than happy to price match. Good onya Jb.

  • Marked price was $49 but scanned in at $29. He didn't belive my screen so he went away to look on his pc and then did a price match after the counter people double checked with the manager. So got it for $10 in the end. (for the division)

    • Tried installing it after linking it to uPlay but the 4th disc was just not playing ball. Got an error: "Disc not recognised, please enter the disc 4 then click ok." Ended up un installing it. Will try again today.

      • +1

I had the exact same issue. I think there is manufacturing defect on that disc. I ended up downloading from Uplay. I did however get Windows to read the disc but it was very slow. You might be able to copy the data and create an image but not sure if it will work.

        • That's really bad that this has happened to someone else too. I got in touch with ubisoft who had me install it as an admin & in safe mode with network. He wouldn't pay attention to the fact that the disc was faulty and made horrendous noises in the drive.

    • Right, so here's how I fixed it.
      Many installs later.

      • You're doing a clean install so remove any existing installs.
      • Create a folder on any drive & call it anything; I called mine 'Division Install D4'
      • Insert Disc 4
      • Go to 'My Computer'
      • Right Click Disc 4 from My Computer
      • Select 'Open'
      • Copy all files to the 'Division Install D4' folder
      • 1 file failed for me: uplay_install.disc
      • Insert Disc 5
      • Copy uplay_install.disc from the disc into the folder
      • Insert Disc 1
      • Right Click Disc 1 from My Computer
      • Select 'Open'
      • Copy 'AutoRun.exe' to the 'Division Install' folder
      • Install the game from the Disc 1 as normal
      • Proceed with Disc 1, 2 and 3 till 4
      • When it asks for 4, point it to the folder named 'Division Install D4’ & continue
      • When it asks for 5, insert 5 & point it back to the disc drive & continue
      • Enjoy
      • Edit: It gets stuck at 31.68/32.30gb and doesn't proceed. It doesn't ask for disc 5. I tried copying the contents of disc 5 into the same folder & restarting the install from disc 1 but it doesn't pick up the last disc 5 content in the same folder nor does it ask for disc 5 to be inserted. Clicking the icon on the desktop now gets me to start downloading it. Bollocks!

  • Got The Division yesterday at Murray Bridge
    Thanks!

One copy of Farcry Primal left at BigW Glenorchy as of now.
