Looking at the 25% sale at Optus right now. What do you guys think? Worth it?
Is this a good time to buy the Galaxy S7 Edge in the 25% off plans from optus??

Buying outright is always good option.
If you want S7 edge in plan then personally I believe it is good timing. e.g. for ($85) $63.75 plan assuming $30 plan, handset cost is $33.75 *24 = $810. Price is competitive at local market but expensive than overseas phones. But you get additional 1 year warranty and total cost is distributed over 24 months. Plus you get watch too which is not eligible for overseas phones. Also it depends on your plan. e.g if you need $65 plan then $20 handset cost may reduce to $0 in next couple of months but if you are after $85 plan, then phone is already $0 so it is good to get at ~$63.75. Optus Plans cost may not change, only handset cost will change.
Also today $40+$37 plan is for $67, $65+$20 plan is for $68.75 while $85+$0 plan is for $63.75. So getting $85 ($63.75) plan is no brainier.
Rest you decide.buying a plan is the equivalent of going to the travel agents to book a holiday - you will always pay more
outright is much better, coupled with a kogan prepaid plan = win
Outright is always better at someone who is a EPL fan im with optus i got a $40 a month unlimited 8gb plan then they had a free EPL season subscription with it (At the time).
I brought my S7 edge outright via Kogan, if you can afford to buy it outright it is always a better deal. It is like car insurance you save if you pay it all at once.
I have one brand new in box, was a warranty replacement from Samsung for a faulty S6 edge+, but took over a month so had to purchase another phone. let me know if interested.

IMHO getting plan never a good thing. You paid to get locked for 24 months. What happen if in 12 months there are much better plans?
