  • The colours are hurting my eyes.

      Maybe you need f.lux 😉

  • Best I'm seeing is $24.30 That's with coupon, no tracking postage, no duty and no insurance. :(

    • +1

It's the Golden one and not the Silver.

    • Same here after selecting gold colour. Do you need to select $USD as payment currency?

  • +3

budget, but they are better sounding than they have any right to be at that price. can't go wrong

  • +1

    Good price thanks

  • That's very cheap for these… Are they legit?

    • Yes they are. Not as strong bass as as one generations ago but still strong as anything. Have to say bass last generation was strong but mids and highs copped it badly making them muddy. This is far more balanced.

As the comment said up there this has far better quality audio wise than what u would expect from the price. A definite no brainier.

      • I meant are they genuine or knockoffs… Just haven't seen them this cheap before, so was a little suspicious.

        • +1

Yeah they are lightinthebox, GearBest, geekbuying, Banggood etc all legit products.

Xiaomi earphones price history drops even faster than their Mi Band so they do get pretty cheap pretty quickly.

The Xiaomi earphones that smelled like chocolate are still my favourite. mmmm

  • Seems like these are still better than the HD pro triple driver ones - louder but not as as V shaped as the triple driver.

Great price this looks like lowest ever on ozb?

I'm using ME M Duo which have been great so good replacement

    • Have not tried these but the HD pros are very very good.

      • cheers - getting some mixed feedback on the triple drivers but that's good to hear, might pick some up when the price drops on em

  • I bought these a month ago (at about $22 AUD). They are great. Braided cable, great sound quality.

    • +3

the sounds is great. but i found the braided shielding of the cable to split. has happen to two of mine now.

    • These ones don't have braided cabling.
I believe the last generation and/or the Pistons did though. Only have the latest ones infront of me atm so cant confirm.

      • You're correct. The page say kevlar fibre cable. It's nicer than standard plastic cabling. Good headphones everyday use.

      • My Hybrid IV has braided cabling. Did they remove it from later versions?

  • 3 buttons work for Android phones only. iPhones can only use the play/pause button.

    • Apple made it differently on purpose

    • I can't get the play/pause button working on the iPhone? Is there some sort of trick to it???

      • Nope. Which iPhone model? Do any of the buttons work?

        • iPhone 6 Plus. None of the buttons work at all. Use the apple music app and was hoping to at least get play/pause working but nothing works.

        • @robbiey: I'm not sure, I have a different model of xiaomi earphones and the play/pause button works on my 6S Plus.

        • @robbiey: Can you answer/end calls with the middle button? That button should work.

  • as they did not provide track no. on my purchase, I have no idea where is my parcel right now.

It has been 13 days since my purchase.

  • +3

I have them. I like em. Although they do not fit in my ears no matter the tip. I usually never have issues with in-ear headphones.

    • Got the same issue, the earphone just not fit well in my ears.

    • I'm the opposite, I've had serious difficulty finding in-ear headphones that would fit and would not fall out at the slightest nudge. For a good 15 years. I only bought these from a previous deal to try again expecting to be disappointed after 3 years of not having headphones… well what do you know, these fit perfectly and didn't make my ears hurt.

Hell I wore them today in a data centre under hearing protection and they were still just as awesome.

  • any idea how they compare to the marley range of earphones? i've bought two sets and love them, but managed to break one of the earpieces

  • looking for some earphones, how well do these stay in the ear? I was originally looking at Plantronics backbeat FIT BT ones (v different to these) as they are supposed to be the best fitness headphones, but will these cheaper ones be any good in the gym/running? (anyone got them and know how well they stay in?)

    • +2

I've got both actually so here's my 2c:

The are actually very complementary to each other.

The Xiaomi sound great (arguably better that the FIT), but mine didn't do well in the gym or for runs. The cord got frustrating for gym (cardio and weights), and I don't think the buds handled sweat very well at all.

In saying that, for an everyday or travelling pair, they are perfect (unless you 100% want wireless), and they cancel out noise pretty well.
For <$20 they are a steal (buy 2 pairs).

The FIT don't noise cancel as well as the Xiaomi (although if you are running with them, this is probably what you want) but have been awesome for gym - they handle movement and sweat like a champ. Fully charged I get about 8-9 hours out of them which is easily a week and a bit of gym sessions covered.

      TL;DR
They are complementary. Xiaomi are great for everyday, but shit for the gym. FIT are excellent in the gym but lacking as an everyday/travelling pair.

      • Thanks, I've currently got pioneers for the commute (basic, about $35 reduced to $3 in the dick smith sale!) and pair of Roccat syva in ear jobs that were $1 again DS sale!

Think i'll go with the Fit for the gym/runs, and buy these once one of my regular pairs dies. Glad to know they sound decent though!

    • Definitely try these - they sound better than a few $100 ones I've tried

  • These sound better than the $200 BeatsX I just purchased IMO.
At under <$20 they are a steal, and I cant recommend them enough.

If you want to use them for gym - maybe look elsewhere as I found that they didn't handle sweat very well.

    • My Pistons have all died (about 3 pairs) after long and faithful service as a result of sweat. I think the controls get affected by the moisture and they start registering false presses of the buttons. It gets to the point where I plug them in and they turn the volume all the way down instantly. Is there any equivalent bang for your buck IEMs that don't have controls/a microphone in line?

  • went to order and found I paid $32.88 during Xmas time. I'm not sure I've got it though…

  • Thanks very much for posting. I just ordered one.

  • Any good quality bluetooth ones?

  • They make a great seal and great for listening to music, however I've noticed with these that when I take a call, I hear myself talking and need to remove one earpiece. Do others have the same problem?

  • $18.96 with Paypal

  • Beware of subscribing to email newsletters from miniinthebox (and related sites). Very buggy system, difficult to unsubscribe.

  • +9

Lightinthebox.com doesn't honour requests to unsubscribe from their newsletter. This means that emails relating to your order are mixed with a relentless barrage of spam. In the event that something goes wrong with an order, correspondence with them will be difficult. My order with them hasn't arrived and I don't hold out much hope that it will, nor do intend to follow up as I'd have to unfilter their spam. Thanks for the reminder to get a paypal refund.

Signing up for spam in exchange for a good price on good headphones that will probably never come. Not a bargain.

    • How long ago was your order shipped? It's not unusual for packages from China to take a month.

    • Valid point. I've been spammed by them for a while and as soon as my watch comes I'll probably block their email

    • True that. I made an account during last deal added an item in cart but never bought it. I kept getting spammed with their newsletter and emails regarding the cart order. Unsubscribing from their emails does nothing.

Just make a fake email mate

    • +1

Same here. They keep spamming me when I unsubscribed from their newsletter too. Try here as well: https://www.lightinthebox.com/index.php?main_page=email_subs…

    • Being spammed too. I wish I saw this comment earlier.

Don't know if this has been discussed yet, but apparently there may be counterfeit Xiaomi In-Ear Pro HDs being sold:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7PTucjKoPGU

    • Perhaps, but these aren't Pro HD :)

    • Definitely there are, I was stupid to buy some Hybrid IV's being sold obviously too cheap, about aud8 (so my own fault should have realised).. they were an absolute abomination in every way… only thing for them was to throw in the bin :(

  • these are great

  • only getting to 20.41$ how do you get it to that price

    • It was the MasterCard rate at the time of posting. A card without currency conversion fees will get you similar. PayPal take a cut if you use their conversion.

  • +1

Thanks OP - I got the silver ones, for $5 more I couldn't bear gold and white! If they sound "meh" I'll use the cable to resurrect my UE600's

    Just be warned:
    * Site "pre-ticks" a bunch of charges such as tracked postage, customs insurance and shipping insurance
    * Site asks for your mobile number (I gave them a fake, well an old unused one)
    * Despite using Paypal, site still gleamed my details and "registered" me on their page
    * Make sure you login, Change your default password STRAIGHT AWAY (it's insecure) and follow the link "Bargain4U" posted and unsubscribe both email addresses.

    • I hate sites like lightinabox and gearbest. They keep spamming your email once you register and there is no way to unsubscribe (the links dont take any effect)

  • the previous model, xiaomi piston 3, has arguably better review with similar price point.

  • -

    • Agreed completely.

  • anyone receive the yet?

    • It's coming from China with free shipping. It can take up to a month.

  • Still not received. By far the longest I've ever waited for stuff from China. Finally manged to stop them spamming me after unsubbing about 10 emails. Never again.
