Citibank debit card now working with Samsung Pay

For anyone interested the citibank debit card can now be added to Samsung Pay. Probably not useful in Australia but maybe if you are going overseas you can get some benefit out of it. Unfortunately no Samsung Pay promo's atm.

Sorry if old news but only noticed this today. Wasn't sure if this should be in mobile or financial forum.

    I'm waiting for Citibank Pay app to support Nougat.

        Just reading recent reviews, seems to work with Nougat. Seems that usage is a bit hit and miss though and not reliable enough to leave your physical card at home.

          Thanks for the heads up; I'll keep that in mind next time it's time to keep my Citibank Plus account active (used to use it pre-Nougat since Android Pay kept playing up on my Westpac Debit MasterCard but since I installed Nougat, it now works beautifully)

          @kerfuffle: Yeh Just installed on my Marshmallow handset, not tested as yet but both my cards appear.

          Will try it on Nougat soon.

      Not really sure I want to install Citi Pay Australia when it's only rated at 1.3 star with less than 5,000 installs. Only if Citibank Credit Card can work with Android Pay…

        It's rating is so bad because people are really pissed that it doesn't support Nougat. I would also prefer to use standard Android Pay, are there any Australian Banks that support it yet?

    I can't seem to get my citibank debit card to work on Samsung Pay, it keeps saying that it is an unsupported card.

      Same :( I was using it on my s6 then got the s8 and now it wouldn't add the card. Removed card from s6 because I thought maybe it could only be used on one device but still didn't work.
