Xbox One Elite Controller - Microsoft Australia Store eBay - $149.99 Delivered (RRP $199.99)

150

XBox One Elite controller. The spiel: "Give your gaming a helpful boost with the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller. It adapts to your hand size and play style, so you get better control across all gaming genres. The new, faceted D-pad enables easier and more reliable combo execution, while the traditional D-pad provides precise control to change weapons or call in a strike."
Tried this at PAX (and just bought one), feels solid and well made - very adjustable with widely good reviews.

Edit: This appears to be an official Microsoft Store on eBay, but user Shads has contacted MS who say they don't have an official eBay store. I'll leave this up for now but I'd probably be ensuring to purchase through PayPal (as I did), just in case the buyer protection thing becomes necessary :/

Not the cheapest it has ever been. But a decent price from the manufacturer directly (though see above). 1.35% cashback from CashRewards will work for this too. http://cashrewards.com.au/ebay-australia/

  • Old one? New one will come with bluetooth eventually, like the newer controller S models.

    • Yep original model - but not aware of any other version yet. I imagine MS might put out a new Elite controller timed with Scorpio, but that's not till later in the year.

    0 feedback?

    • That is a bit odd. Looks like a legit store otherwise

    • Agree spaghettiman - have noted it in the post. But store does look quite legit. Guess I'll find out in the next week or so.

Everyone loves this controller, but is it worth $150?

      Yes

    • Everyone loves this controller, but is it worth $150?

Yes. The standard controller is rubbish compared to this.

      • Yes it makes me want to use the xbox one instead of the PS4

      • I do not like that d-pad, though I gather you can replace it.

At first glance the rest of it looks the same.

I'll believe you that it's better than the original controller, but I'm not sure it's $150 better.

        • If this is the controller I think it is, the dpad and joysticks are removable and come with a few different designs you can put in each.
It also has 4 paddle buttons on the underside.
But I'd agree, not worth $150 to me.

      short answer: YES
long answer: YES, you can customise some keys to the trigger that makes things more simple, and they count in some shooters, effectively it is a bit of cheating :p
I wish there is a BT version soon

It adapts to your hand size

How is that possible? Is it made of play doh?

It's $147.26 with the tech sale on ebay.

    • Saw this - but for $2.73 happy to get local stock. No problem if this post is pulled though.

be a bit weary of this. saw it yesterday and I spoke to Microsoft who said they don't have an eBay Store… 0 feedback and been created since may 2016. good luck to those that buy, would be great to hear your feedback!

    • Thanks Shads - have updated post to be more blunt about the potential risk.

  • Awesome controller! Highly recommended if you can find at decent price point from a seller you trust.

Lol same price as the aldi vic one good the console alone

Why don't you word that in English.

The Aldi Console Deal didn't include the elite controller and is a special promotion.
