Oral B Professional Care 700 3D Cross Action Electric Toothbrush + Travel Case $49.99 (50% off) @ Shaver Shop

140

The battery of my 1.5 year old $20 Oral B Vitality from an OZB sale stopped holding charge. I tried to replace it but soldering new tabs onto a replacement battery proved difficult. I'll still get around to it in time, but I wanted to eventually upgrade for a while to a toothbrush that has vibration pulsing (like the Colgate C250 I have) in addition to rotation, and also pressure sensing.

It seemed like a good time to want a replacement because I stumbled across the Oral B PRO 700 at Shaver Shop that has all the features I need, without the bluetooth, LCD screens, external timers and other bling in the $100+ toothbrushes that I don't need. It also happened to be the cheapest price I could find on it by a fair bit.

The last time it was on sale for $54 it got quite a good reception: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/158911

Is this the cheapest price for this model so far?

    • You forgot to ask what is the total value of the components in it, where each component comes from (by country, eventually grouped the countries and order high to low the values) and the exact RGB color of each component.

OP did a lot of research already.

Not all Oral B toothbrushes created equal. This one only has the less powerful 7,600 oscillations and 20,000 pulsations per minute compared to the higher model of 8,800 oscillations and 40,000 pulsations per minute. (more information comparing the differences here: https://www.animated-teeth.com/electric_toothbrushes/oral-b-…)

    • So we should brush slower???

      • With this toothbrush you probably need to brush longer

        • Im still using a 5yo oral b :) considering upgrading.

  • Shavershop doesn't have this version in store. What's the difference between this and pro 500 version? I am confused. From the description, they are the identical.
