  while I dont have a problem paying 1 cent - what is the point though when paypal will take that 1 cent as their fee anyway

    I thought Paypal no longer charged for that. Or is that only for personal accounts?

      Paypal charge the fee of 30 cents + % fee regardless of your account type

    paypal will take that 1 cent as their fee anyway

    The fee for accepting a paypal payment is 30 cents + a percentage based fee

      unless they have changed their policy, if the payment is very small (< 30 cents), they used to take the entire payment as their fee (I've had a few payments like that in the past). Maybe ozstock can confirm this if they are receiving these payments?

  Thanks Ozstock. You guys will make a loss here but your freebies are appreciated. I ordered an item some time ago and as it didnt say shipped, I rang them - they said that they havent gotten the item from the supplier yet. I was so surprised the next day when they had posted the item express. From my experience, these guys are quite good to deal with (No I am not getting a commision from them) :)

  Sadly My experiences differs. Their service is not that great. Once i paid 300$ for an item and then when i called them up to pick up the item about 5 days later, they said they had already resold the item because i hadnt picked it up within 3 days. I can understand if i hadnt yet paid for it but only ordered it even though thats still a bit wrong BUT I told them if i had paid for it then why couldnt they at the very least inform me that they were about to resell it. All I got was you had to pick it up within 3 days. Then i asked them to refund me the money and they wanted me to come into the store just to get a refund…. Sorry But I would have thought it is against the law to resell an item after accepting payment for it at least within such a short period of time..

  Heres the catch, On other orders that i have made through them, i have sometimes had to wait about 2-3 weeks after the order was made AND paid for before they even receive the item from their supplier. So Its one set of rules for us and another for them. I get the feeling it might be because they also sell on ebay and hence dont take items off ebay even when they get sold via their homepage. So they sometimes can oversell then have to get more stock from the suppliers. In the case of the item i paid 300$ they probably couldnt get more stock in…..But to ask me to come in to the store for no other reason than to get a refund is quite annoying. So in the meantime they were of course making money of my money.
