Last month I changed over from Jenee mobile to a Kogan plan.
Today I received my last bill from Jenee mobile which is totalling $225.
My Jeenee plan was initially the $25 plan with 2GB data and $500 of calls, which i had connected to back in 2014.
Before I disconnected from Jeenee, I had used about 1.9GB of the monthly 2GB total.
However they prorated my bill and the cap consequently became 1.2GB and $300 of calls.
This led to $200+ in excess usage charges.
I called up Jeenee and the lady on the phone says that since I did not give 30 days notice, they prorated my bill. She couldnt show me where it says that my bill would be prorated but she said that they didnt need to write it anywhere since I hadn't given notice. She said my apparent 700mb excess was charged at 25c/mb totalling $170, which is the 2014 rate as opposed to the 4c/mb currently on all Jeenee plans since I signed up in 2014.
She spoke to her team leader and said that she would put the 700mb excess as $10 for 1gb add on, bringing the bill down substatially however I would still have to pay the excess call charges.
This seems so ridiculous to me especially since I believed I was well within the cap and did not want my bill to be prorated. Is there anything else I can do?
