[Price Error] Hisense 75" UHD LED TV - 75M7000UWD $2295 @ Harvey Norman (Saturday/Sunday)

Moved to Forum: Original Link

Currently showing as $2995 online, but the ad on Fox Sports showing during the India/Australia Test cricket says says it is $2295 this weekend!

Ouch paid way too much for this less than a month ago.

Good TV

Mod: As per the Harvey Norman rep, the actual deal is for the 70" not the 75". Moved to forums.

I wish Id bought a smaller TV. Said no-one. Ever.

    • Same as my arrangement ~3m and it's perfect. I'm not short sighted.

Ssjmark go for the projector mate you wont regret it.Had a projector room set up for five years now, currently using a benq awesome projector and a 92 inch screen.Prior to the benq I had a infocus projector paid quite a few bob for that, watching footy on a 92 inch screen cant be beat,my grandkids love playing xbox on it,dont buy a lcd projector buy a dlp one better blacks on it.

    • Dlp?
Are the entry level benqs dlp?

My budget is roughly the same aa this tv for projector and screen.

    • Just curious how much are bulbs and how often do they need replacement or have projectors changed in that area?

    • I'd rather a 90" Tv and they arnt far off too. Projectors are good for movies in a dark room. But don't compare to a 4K large Tv. No way.

  • Mate you will have plenty of change, ausmedia has the 1090 benq for around 1000'decent screen 400, plenty of change.Your miss,s will be happy money left over for decent home theatre, happy days mate,no comparison to a tv ive got a 55 in the lounge room looks like a postage stamp compared to 92 inch screen, dont buy lcd.

  • Do the 7000 series have a headphone port that you can control via remote?

  • Just saw an ad during the cricket for harvey Norman in Perth. It had the 70" advertised as $2295…

      By Saturday it'll be a 68cm CRT for $5922

      • +2

Haha I remember the good old days in 1998 when I used to be in awe over a 68cm CRT screen size. And those 80cm Sony ones were considered top of the range.

  • So is it 75inch or 70inch… there's conflicting ads it seems

    • The ad I saw in regional NSW said something like "Huge Hisense 75" TV $2295"

  • I stole a FHD 3D BenQ projector from Officeworks the other day for $286. Unsure if I want to use it or not.

Was watching the footy just now and there was a HN ad for the 70" model at $2295

    • I haven't seen add but wondering is it 75 or 70 inch

      • Seems to be conflicting information.. Hopefully theres also a 75" promo cos Im looking to pick one up.

        • 70" is great too (arguably even better tv?), but 200$ off isn't that tantalising as a 700$ reduction.

    • Also saw it for the 70"

  • Anyone here with a 75" model tell me if you need to use motion smoothing to watch sport like the NRL? Does it look a bit jerky if you don't?

    • I have this and watch both NRL and supercars on it via Foxtel HD and looks great

Hi Guys! I'm in the area for buying a new TV in the next 2 months!

I understand new models are coming out and we should expect discounts but this seems to be a really good bargain at the moment for a 75" TV!

I'm trying to look at reviews but there's not that many indepth ones. Main concern for me is I watch sports but can't stand Motion Blur!

Any feedback guys or links to better reviews would be really appreciate.

    • Yer I too would like to know this

  • Waiting patiently for the 65" 7 series to drop down to around $1500 (like in Jan this year).

    • Flashing bars????

      • Hey?

        • Review said the black bars flash and I googled it and theses heaps of reports in flashing black bars in some movies

        • @Twisty:
From the review "When watching movies in the dark we could make out letter box bars in certain scenes with bright flashes of light, but they weren’t distracting and performance was superior to Samsung’s best."

        • @Twisty: wow I see what you mean. Hope it doesn't effect the 75. I have one and don't get any flashing. Saying that I had an LGG4 and didn't think I would get bootloop.

    • Same with JB

Did they ever fix the compatibility issue with these models and Xbox One S for HDR gaming? I seem to remember they promised a firmware update late last year.

If they did does anyone know what latency is like when using it for HDR gaming?

    • +1

Interested to hear feedback from any PlayStation Pro owners and HDR with this TV. Cheers

      • Want to know how much input lag there is as well.

  • has anyone confirmed this yet?

  • The 70" is on there site for $2295 now. Unfortunately this looks to confirm what other were saying about it being the 70" on offer.

    • yer :(

HN now lists the 70" model for $2295
Voting down because of the misleading post, I don't think it was ever the 75" model that was advertised for 2295…

    Hi all,

We'd like to confirm that the Hisense 70" 70M7000UWG is what's currently advertised and available for $2295:
    http://www.harveynorman.com.au/hisense-70-series-7-4k-ultra-…

As per the deal linked to this post, the 75" model is currently $2995:

    Cheers

So this bargain is all hot air then and should probably be deleted.
Anyway, the 75" would be $2396 at the Good Guys right now here:
      http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Hisense-75M7000UWD-75-190cm-U…

      • HN has some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced - online and off. I'm sure there are some okay franchises out there. Would prefer to give my business to GGs anyway.

  • This is ridiculously cheap for a 75+ a few years ago, crappy 720p 65” plasmas were selling for $8999! That was around 2010 granted, So now you can get an awesome 75” for like $2k… does this mean that TV’s in the 80”-100” wil start to gain traction and have their prices come down also? Or will be transition to same size but cheaper OLED?

  • Jb has the 75 for $2698

    • I want cheaper hahaha

      • +1

It was $2495 about 3 weeks ago. Just wait another couple weeks. The model will be discontinued in two months.

        • I will matey

  • In Today's Daily Telegraph in NSW they are listing this as a 70" for $2295.

Will ask for this deal to be closed as it appears it is a 70" not a 75"

    • +3

Few too many beers watching the India/Australia test there mate? ;)

  • +1

i went in-store to check this out, and i can say that the 75" looked significantly larger than the 70" kind of like a 15" difference.
