First of all I would like to thank you on belahf of all oz bargin members. It takes tremendous amount of time and effort to keep this platform as bargin site and not advertising platform.
There is simple equation that decide price "demand and supply". If demand is low price goes down and if demand is high price goes up. There are so many other factors that affect price as well such as cost of transportation, cost of labour, exchange rates of AUD are example of few.
With our prices and discounts we belive in fair trading, instead of quoting double and triple price and then give customers massive discounts we provide them saving in actul dollars. We are not claiming to be chepest however if you are up for challenge I would like to offer $25 visa card if you can find 5 companies who sell cheaper than us with this $25 off promotion.
With your comments on comparing our current offer with out past offer is point less to me as comparison between past and present is not possible in money world.
For example last night gold price risen by $26 USD if i bought an ounce of gold I would have saved usd 26 but if I ware to compare it to gold price in 2000 I have paid 4 times the value. It is not "effectively price increase", it is just a way markets works.
I hope this will broaden your understanding of bargain and help you to post some sensible comments on oz bargin to help other members.

Australia's foremost bargains website is not oz bargin. You joined OzBargain. We come here for bargains. We don't come here to be told price increases are good for us.
As I type, 1,039 members and 4,260 guests are online. Which of them does not use home furnishings? 59 clicks in nearly 20 hours and you lecture me on "demand and supply". Feel free to match your previous discount. Claim it was due to popular demand if you wish.

Out of those 59 click I already have 4 orders so its almost 8%. Google advice that you can only convert 2% of your click to sale. I am doing 4 times better than average.
With experience bargain hunter like you not been able to take a challenge to find five company to beat our prices.

Out of those 59 click I already have 4 orders so its almost 8%.
All 4 OzBargainers were content with a lower discount and also could not spare 0.38 seconds to plus-vote this post. Have I got that right?
It would have been wiser to maximise your results with fuller usage of the description area. You prefer arguing with the only member assisting you. I'm not surprised because you don't take oz bargin seriously.
