M4 charging toll start date?

Hi ozbargainers,

I am getting mixed information for when m4 toll gates start charging again after their testings.

Does anyone know when m4 toll gates start charging again?

    Started at 1201am on Saturday 15th July 2017 (few days ago)

      The actual toll won't be charged until mid August i.e. a month after

        you are correct kerfuffle, they start charging the toll fee onwards of 1201am on Saturday 12th August 2017

    Has anyone used it in peak hr traffic and noticed any major improvements in traffic flow?

      nothing improved when you enter/exit from Parramatta road (the beginning of the M4). However, when you get into Parramatta and Silverwater much better than before.

        But the speed limit is still 80 km/h from Parramatta Road until after the Merrylands exits -_-

    Where are the new distanced based toll booths located on the M4. Where is the frist booth when you travel from mays hill to homebush.
    Is there any toll for the travell between westmead (collins st) to parramatta(church st) on M4.

    Just heard on the radio that they will start charging from 15th of August
