Paint Protection and Windows Tinting - Sydney - Recommendations

Recently purchased a new car - did not want the dealer's protection pack based on a number of threads online about the supposed value of these packages.

Looking for recommendations of places that can do window tinting for new cars and paint protection. Ideally if they are open on the weekend, that's great - or happy for them to come to my place (have a garage where the work can be done). If they bundle (i.e. Protection + Tinting), even better.

Have heard about Opticoat - will check them out.

Any other recommendations for providers based in Sydney?

I personally would prefer to do each of those at their respective places (given they specialise in that area), and that's what I have done with all the cars

    Tint
Carbon Car Systems / Car Car Tinting - they use 3M, and I would happily pay more just to have that. They also use a plotter, which means the tint can be precut to the exact specifications of your car and no cutting directly on your window with blades
This may mean that the prices may seem a little more than other places like tint-a-car etc, but rest assured you have someone who knows what they're doing

    Paint Protection
There's a few here (in no particular order) and they all come to you
    Adams Polishes Australia
    Superior Shine (uses Ceramic Pro)
    Bright Shine (uses Armor 9H)

Something else to consider is the internal leather/fabric protection as well (additional costs but if drinks are going to be taken into the car - this helps a lot)

If you want to bundle, you can also go to Carbon Car Systems (they use opticoat and could do both at the same time)
In the end, the paint protection is a much of a muchness… anything is better than nothing (and most of the work is in the prep as opposed to the product itself)

I got my Mazda tinted at carbon car systems at Blacktown with the 3m stuff. That was 3 yrs ago still looks good. I think it was $250 for a Mazda 3.
