      The issue isn't damaging your phone, but what its plugged into. For example, if a non-compliant cable is plugged into a laptop, the phone might think that it's safe to pull more current (Amps) than the laptop's USB socket is designed to handle. This could damage the laptop.

    Nor do Blitzwolf cables though, and they are popular here (I have one myself).
    The Rock cables (a 2A version of them) get good reviews on their official Aliexpress store (the negative reviews listed there are unrelated to product, it's about people who had ordering problems). I'd say that's a fairly good indication given the number of reviews there. And they paid US$4.99, not US$2.33 like this deal!

        Personally I favour the opinion of hundreds of people who bought a product, used it in different environments, and found it to be good. Those are "Findings", not "Beliefs".

  The Rock cable is 1m rather than 1.2m. Should not make much of a difference to most of the people.

    I'll try to find out what's going on. It's possible that the maximum number of redemptions was reached. They had to limit it because they did not have huge amount of stock.
    The coupon for the Xiaomi still works.

  When I tried to do both together it didn't work.
  When I did it one at a time the discount worked.

    I have confirmed that both code still work,the GB3RRock left 9 times,the GB3RCable left 16 times,you cannt apply both code at one time.
