Hi, does anyone know if the woolworths credit card "selected weekend" for the 10% off is the same for everybody? or is the weekend random? was thinking of getting one for me and one for the missus.
cant really find any details on the woolies website about the selected weekend.
I think this benefit it is pretty new. I've been a cardholder for a while, only started getting emails about the discount either late last year or in Jan. Possible that I missed a few. I turned off all paper and only get emails.
Last two for me:
I got an email Feb 17, advertising Saturday 18 February and Sunday 19 February 2017 was the weekend in feb
I got an email last friday advertising March 11 and 12 was the weekend in March.
This is the fine print they include

I've got the 17 Feb email too but have not received any email about last weekend. Therefore, it is probably "tailored" differently for every one.
They're good with awarding QFF points. Received them a week or so after the first spend.
Edit: I got an email on 10 March too but hidden in the Promotions folder within gmail.
I got an offer for last weekend which I used. A friend also got one too for the same weekend.

I've also just today got a targeted spend offer
Spend $200 or more between 24 May and 6 June 2017 in Woolworths Supermarkets or online using your Woolworths Credit Card to earn a $50 Woolworths eGift Card.
I got something similar earlier in the year, I appear to have deleted the email, but I did earn the egift card for that offer also.
I have not seen these advertised as a feature of the card, so I am not sure if everyone gets them, or if they are experimenting on how receptive their customers are to offers, but it seems pretty worthwhile so far to be on their mailing list.
Still no emails from them. Will call Monday - I hate missing out on deals! :-)
What happens if you swipe your card to get the Woolworths points and 10% off, but then use a different credit card to pay the final bill? Does that work?

So I did a shop and processed it as per instructions, but haven't yet seen a discount/rebate appear.

It's 10% off your shop right at the checkout, comes off when you scan your rewards barcode… check your receipt should be on there.
It was an online order, processed exactly as described in the T&C's..

I missed it at first, as I paid part of the order with an OOS coupon code, so didn't actually pay the full amount via WW credit card, however it appears to have applied the 10% discount to the total amount.

It is now on fixed days, second weekend of a month. Online 10% off starts on Friday so you can test eligibility before going out.

I took an elderly, living alone neighbour out for lunch and shopping today with making good use of this offer in my mind. Managed to pay together and saved more than $5 each.
She saved 10% plus 5% e-gift card discount. I earned extra points from her spending also will feel less guilty next time when she insists paying my lunch. Win win.
I assumed everyone got it the same time, but in hindsight that was a big assumption. I have not had one for March yet…
