I have been seeing multiple Gearbest ads for a G1W-CB dashcam priced at $38.39.
But when I click through it comes up as $45.78 (see http://imgur.com/a/IbNWi )
These are all Australian sites and seem to refer to the AU Gearbest. Even if you change the currency to US$ it still isn't $38.39.
At $38.39 I'd buy at least one. At $45.78 I might wait awhile.
Any ideas?

Clear - this is the point.
It clearly (bom-tish) is not AU$38 - but it is also clearly not US$38…
So where the heck is the $38 coming from?Ad listings can often be incorrect as prices change due to promotions.
In this case Gearbest are having their 3rd anniversary sale and that's why it's incorrect.
So what the hell do I have to do to get a bloody dashcam for the advertised price?
@BigTed: Currently it's cheaper than what their ad is advertising.
@Clear: How does that work?
It is advertised on Australian websites to Australian customers at $38. We are entitled by law to understand that as $AU.
How is it cheaper than that?@BigTed: Simple. The ad is in USD and not AUD.
Assuming Google ads is being used then it'll be based on your search habits and not being pushed by this website specifically. You could be on any website and this ad will display.
Since this is a Chinese company you're not going to have any luck pushing Australian Consuner law. I seriously doubt the ACCC will have any interest in pursuing this as the ad is marketed internationally and the company is overseas.
Furthermore most Chinese sites charge in USD by default. If it's not an Australian website then don't assume it'll be AUD.
Hi BigTed,
Thank you so much for your kind feedback.
I have informed our Google Ad department to fix this.

Dear BigTed,
Just like Clear said, since Gearbest is currently under anniversary promotion, price will change due to different period promotions,
sometimes Google cant get the latest price to display,so this case will happen. If you find more cases about our store, pls just let me know,we will fix it asap.
Thanks again!
Have a great day!
Sunny
The price on the ads is most certainly going to be USD unless it specifically mentions AUD. Ad listings can often be incorrect as prices change due to promotions.
Currently it's showing as $33.99 US which is much cheaper than the $38 US advertised.
