Wandering around Woolies at Macquarie Centre and found The House of India 350g curry and rice packs for $2.80 each. Apparently you heat it for 2.5mins to eat it. Varieties are:
Lamb Rogan Josh
Beef Madras
Lamb Korma
ChickenTikka

Anyway, I bought a few to freeze up being a bachelor.

  Not really a deal. Available at most Indian grocery stores for $2 to $3 being the normal price range.

  I didn't know about them and haven't seen "meals" in the supermarket for $2.80. Will give one a try, not expecting too much though.

  Yeah my GF said I have to cook tomorrow… excellent.

  Theory is I look all concerned and busy, make her wait in the lounge room then proudly present something god awful 'average'.
  Don't get asked again for weeks…. this + frozen veggies should do nicely.

  no bargain, you are not mentioning the fact you got these for 60% off on reduced to clear.

  These meals have a short shelf life, hence they can be found at a good price depending what store you shop at
