Just a PSA announcement, when you pay with Android pay, the last four digits that appear on the receipt won't match the one that is on your physical card.
This is a security feature for Android pay, which is great, but I just faced a problem with this. Short story- bought something from woolies but realised it was a wrong purchase and thus proceeded for a refund not even 5 mins after. The manager on duty asked to see my physical card to see if the numbers matched to the receipt but obviously because of the aforementioned feature they didn't. Ended up refunding me but not without endless guilt tripping as if he was going above and beyond to do this. I even showed him the time stamp of my purchase from the android pay notification but he didn't seem to care.
Anyway just thought I'd let you guys know in case any of you face something similar because it seemed like they would not ordinarily process refunds if the numbers don't match.
Your 'virtual' number can be found if you go into the android pay app and click on your card. I obviously didn't know this at the time but I'm sure many others aren't aware either! Hope this helps someone :)
