Was alerted by Amex on the phone this morning they have boosted referral rewards to 40,000 for Qantas Ultimate Cards for a limited time.

Refer your friends by 11 April 2017 and you could receive 40,000 Qantas Points for each friend who applies using your referral link by 1 May 2017 and is approved.

They receive 75,000 Qantas Points if they apply by 1 May 2017 are approved for a Qantas American Express Ultimate Card and meet the $1,500 spend criteria.

      It's not the card for everyone. Some will see value for money with the included features and earn rates. Others not… :)

    Have to manually enter cc number to generate referral link if you hold another card like Explorer

      Not possible. You can only refer the card that you hold.

        I hold an Ultimate and Explorer. When I got to the Rewards section to refer, the only option automatically offer is a referral for the Explorer. Hence my comment for Ultimate.

    I got the Essential card and even did not complete the spend requirements for the $75 bonus. I have rang them up 3 times asking if they will give me bonus points if approved for other cards and they say no. I know some people who were existing customers and still managed to get bonus points though.
