  • Can someone who is already a customer check this to see if it works for them maybe? The New customer info came from another source and it's not specified in the T&C's.
My guess is that with a coupon that says 'NEW' in it, it's for new customers only.

Never buy anything from them because there is no warranty what so ever.

    • +2

Aliexpress is a marketplace of sellers. Warranty will depend on the store and not Aliexpress.

I recently had a terrible experience with Aliexpress after several successful purchases.

Seller stuffed me around since Christmas and then when I raised a dispute, they asked me to cancel promising if I didn't get in 20 days they would resend. I did as they asked and 20 days later, I contacted them several times to no response. I tried raising with Aliexpress 3 times and each time was made promises in terms of a refund and communication that was not met (was also told there is no further escalation I could take past the person on the livechat when I asked to escalate my dispute).

TLDR - Do not trust sellers if anything goes wrong with your purchase and under no circumstances close your dispute.

    • +3

Yep, never ever cancel the dispute until it is totally settled - product received or refund (or on the very odd occasion a compromise)

All my experiences with ali were terrible. ALL stores have vouchers for you. None of them work.

When you buy sth, the tracking shows they don't even START to ship it for 20 days. By the time you get your widget, it's 2mths and worth 30% less than you bought it for.

Everything is so dodgy, it feels like ebay 20yrs ago.

Should add that its $60USD not AUD.

  • anyone know how i can ship to a different address to the cc address? i think my cc payment is failing as the shipping address is different - anyone?

  • Do AliExpress accept PayPal or not? saw something on Reddit saying they do nowm but cant find any mention of it.

    • I couldn't use paypal with my purchase from a shop called "Hong Kong Gateway". Delivered fine so that was alright

Can this stack with $4 referral coupon?

  • Can anyone recommend a $60 burner Android phone?

    • +2

      60 USD or 60 AUD? There's a huge difference.

If you want a cheap burner device, just buy a 'supermarket' Android phone from Woolies or Coles special deals. At least they'll support Aussie networks — a lot of cheap Chinese droids lack the required 3g and 4g bands and you'll get poor signal connection.

      • $US60

        • +2

          Do you need 4G?

If not, Umi Rome X or Doogee X5 will meet basic needs for $60 USD. Just remember to check whether it has 3G 850mhz or 900mhz, depending on your telco.

if you need 4G, you should skip Aliexpress entirely and go to a supermarket and buy a cheap Prepaid phone and find an unlock code from ebay. You won't be able to find 4G phones for $60 USD on Ali.. most of them also have very poor support for aussie networks and you'll get poor signal connectivity.

  • Just got this

Sorry you can not get the coupon. You are not eligible for activities.

    No go

    • Did you make a new account? Same error for me when signing in with existing account.

  • is the white MI Box better or the MI box 3S? so confusing..
