Depends on the fan and the electrician, however generally you are looking at 1-2 hours work so around $100-$150 gets you there most of the time.

Generally not as the mechanism that handles the process is the same. A licensed electrician is better placed to give a definitive answer of that though with knowledge of your specific setup in your home.

Also what's equal to a 32 watt oyster light with the ring bulbs and not standard Edison or bayonet lights.. reason being I have found them brighter then standard bulbs.
