Is The Frequent Flyer Gravy Train Coming to an End?

So I've had a few friends tell me due to new banking regulations on CC fees, the whole signup bonuses will soon become a thing of the past. I've also read some comments on CC deals echo this.

Does anyone have any more detailed info? I enjoyed collecting QFF and VFF points via signup bonuses… will be a shame if it's soon to disappear.

The "FF gravy train" hasn't existed for years - points used to be much more valuable and arguably just as easy to get (there do seem to be more cards these days though).

Hard to say how the change to interchange fees from July 1 will affect FF offers, I'm hoping banks find other ways to extort fees out of people so I can continue to freeride on the good points deals.

    • Can u please elaborate on this?
