I know, they are not the best money can buy but very decent for this price. Lowest price i can find elsewhere is around $100 + shipping.

Actually made from a good alloy of steel ….. Even like more expensive knives they need to be kept sharp ….. There a few smelters that make set alloys and they find their way into multiple brands….So price isn't the indicator of steel quality.
