    How is this a bargain!?!?!? 500mls of Olive oil is usually less than $10.

    Here's a link to multiple brands well under the 'postage' price!

      Doesn't take a high IQ to know that Olive Oil is like wine and brands are different. Hell, the Coles listings prove that, ranging from $0.60/100ml to $2.20/100ml

      Are you going to turn around and quote a Cleanskin price in a Penfolds deal? No…

        So what you are saying this is the penfolds of olive oil … I laugh …

        • +1

          I don't think that's what they're saying but I do agree with the spirit of their comment.

          For olive oil direct from an olive grower, I'd expect to pay more than from a bulk, quality unknown supplier like you'd find at Coles.

          E.g. Olio Bello (in WA) is $29.95 for 500ml - so on that basis $13.80 from a grower is pretty good.

          @beeawwb: Fair enough … Im going to revoke the negative but have I got some icecubes that I'd love to sell you … made with pure Melbourne tap water.

          I agree there is a difference in taste and I prefer my honey from a local bee farm but I still have issues seeing this as a 'bargain'

          PS: Spackbace keep up the great work posting other great deals.

          @pw2002au: Well, if your artisanal Melbourne organic ice cubes have a noticeable improvement in taste and function to my home-made Brisbane tap water ones, I'll consider them. :P

          Olive oil, though, that's something I can absolutely taste a difference in - but I've attuned my palate in the same way I would alcohols. That is, by consuming large quantities of it.

          @pw2002au: Oils ain't oils

  • What else are they growing at Nuggety Creek? Samples?
