Looking for a Laptop for Home

Hi all,

Unfortunately, I have missed on few amazing deals on laptops here at OzBargain!!

I am looking for a windows laptop hopefully under $700 mark. Primarily for home use. I am mainly looking for following features:

  • Not more than 14"
  • Light weight
  • >= i5 (really not fussy about it, but want good performance)
  • Keyboard backlight (preferable)
  • SSD (128 or above)

Would really appreciate if you can help me find some good bargain.

    If its just for basic use, wait for the Dell Inspiron 11 deal to come round again for $320. Hasn't got a strong processor but the 128GB SSD makes up for it and keeps it speedy. I haven't seen many laptops under $500 that have an SSD, meaning for most basic tasks its really good value for money.

      That's not quite an i5 (not even an i3). But you are right, it is a steal of a computer and does a lot for the money.

      What specifically are you using it for OP?
