What is te differenece between Kogan 55" 4K Curved LED TV (Ultra HD) and Kogan 55" Agora 4K Smart LED TV (Ultra HD) apart from being curve shape for the former and flat for the latter?
Also, is it worth buying Kogan or Samsung with similar specs from price wise and usage life perspectves.

I thought Kogan promoted himself on using Samsung and lg components in his TVs, suppose it depends on design and warranty to fit your purpose?
Not always, the Agora uses a LG panel but the curved one uses a AUO panel
Just my experience but i purchased a kogan 2 years back and it was a piece of shit. Returned it and got a sony. Menu options lagged, voice never matched mouth and was a little blurry.
What brand and type do you suggest instead? Preferrable less than $1K if possible. Thanks
A bit more than your $1k budget but not much more… best brand for durability and build quality also.

Thanks heaps
No prob. It will cost you a little more but overall would be the cheapest tv of its type out there when you consider how reliable and well made it is which means it will last you a very long time.
The picture quality will be up there with the best also.
We have one LG 42" LCD here which is around 9 y/o and still gives a great pic and never fails.
Not an expert on these cheap tvs but I think it might be in the title.. the agora is a smart tv..and the other one isnt (or is very limited to a point it cant be considered a smart tv)
as for which.. id always go the one with the longest warranty if they are both the same quality
