Curious if anyone can recommend me some sites they use to do varying types of surveys etc online to earn a few extra bucks?
Also how much you would approx make in an hour of doing such surveys would be very helpful

I use Mint Surveys. They only send a few surveys a week but I can usually get a $20 gift card each month.
If you calculate out the pay per hour across most of the survey sites it's only about $6 an hour unless you get the really long highly paid surveys. It's a supplement, not an income.
I use erewards. It earns me 2000 Etihad guest miles every month and $50 Woolies voucher every quarter. I could earn more but they are the max limits. No need to wait around for surveys, as I click the link from the email they send me on a daily basis and a new surveys pops up. If I didnt click they only send one once every 7-12 days. Which would take forever to earn anything
Myopinions would be the one I recommend. Can earn around $1.20 for a half hour survey, with some surveys paying more. There's also Pure Profile which I've just signed up to that pays about the same/a bit less. Kind of depends if you are the type of person they want to survey. There's also Myview and Mysurvey.net.au as well, these are just okay though.
Yeah my favourite is MyOpinions, PrizeRebel also good. I use InstaGC if I need like a small amount of money quickly
I use Valued Opinions, PureProfile, eRewards, MyView, Opinions Paid, Yougov, Mint, LiveTribe, MySurvey, Qantas Red Planet, Cafestudy, and probably a couple of others. You aren't going to get rich from this, though if you are younger, you will get more surveys than me as I am now 67, not a desirable demographic. But I manage to get enough supermarket vouchers/cash to supplement the food bill now and then. However, they can be very time consuming for little reward.
The real money is in focus groups/taste tests etc, but again they are hard to get into. They pay about $80-100 for a couple of hours work. But you have to travel to their premises so cost of fares, parking etc, need to be considered. Many run at night so if you have a day job, no problems. Usually, they aren't keen if you have done a group within the previous six months - but if they are not so fussy, it will depend on what the last group was about, in case it is similar. I've done a few including one for the Level Crossing Authority, Hearing Clinics, Health Insurance, Men's Health, IT for older Australians, Dental Clinics, and other things. One involved visiting the Melbourne Zoo (free entrance, plus payment for the survey).
Some projects run online, I did a payments survey over a week for the RBA, a survey on laundry over a week, and road tested paper towel samples for two weeks. Some are in the form on online communities over a few weeks, and involve a few tasks each week. They pay quite well if you do everything they ask.
Taste tests can be good, if you have no major food allergies. I've done yoghurt, chocolate, pasta sauce, and quite a few others. But I get very few of those now unfortunately.
Hey mate,
I've been using a few different sites but the one I found is the best (personally) is swagbucks, you get points not just from doing surveys but also referring others, watching videos, playing games, put in daily codes etc.
I generally spend 1-2 hrs daily with 2 accounts and get around U$25 in paypal each, AUD$64 weekly.
Tried to PM you with more info but you can't be PM-ed.
I do this too, completing daily's gives around $50US a week if done correctly.
I used mint surveys (you get paid in gift cards) its fairly slow though, like 10 minutes might get you a dollar something. If you're even able to find a survey which seems to be the bigger problem with most survey places (waiting for surveys to come in).
I've heard of people doing online transcribing work if thats more you're thing? Though I haven't really tried it.
