Qatar Lounge Access

Hi guys,

I have just booked some flights to travel from Melbourne to London and would like to get some help on how to get lounge access.

I'm flying Qatar airlines.

I currently have silver Virgin Australia and Emirates status and have tried getting a status match with Qatar - no luck!

Let me know if there are any affordable ways to get lounge access :)

You can get access to the Oryx lounge for I think around $55 USD more info' here:

If you have an extended connection time there is also the Airport Hotel

Have you checked if there are any Visa lounges around (most black cards would let you in for free)? With my OneWorld Sapphire (Gold) status I could only get into a pretty average lounge anyway at Doha airport.
