  • Sucks for me, I bought Doctor Strange on Blu-ray TODAY! Could have saved myself nearly $9!

    • Even if you have opened it they will normally refund the difference if you still have the receipt. Otherwise it's too easy to just buy the discounted item and return it with the old receipt.

      If anyone wants the additional 10% code, send me a PM. There's nothing I can see that is of any real value that I don't already have so I won't be using it.

      • Thanks for the tip! Wouldn't have occurred to me to return the new with the old.

    • Same here got night of living dead ltd edition was stuck aside for me to pick up anytime was going to go friday or even Saturday but cause i was in the area i thought I pick up sooner come back to find i could have got 20% and 10% off. Might have yo go back and ask the difference.

  • Have others on their mailing list received the coupon code for the extra 10% off?

    • +2

      Yes, I received it just after 6pm Perth time … and about 5 minutes AFTER I'd put an order in!!! Grrrrrr. Mind you, I used the "buy 2 movies, get 1 free" + the 20% off, so can't complain too much I guess. Had another look at the website and realised GoT Season 6 is currently 25% off so used the 10% off code with that :)

      Note: For those who do get the 10% off coupon, it actually expires tomorrow 3rd March

      • Hmm I've only received the email from them this morning with their specials and no code :(

        • Was that an email referring to the new catalogue, $200 off an LG 55" TV etc? I received that email this morning as well (about 8.30am Perth time). I only received the discount code email less than an hour ago, so maybe they're still in the process of sending them out?

  • If anyone doesn't want their coupon, I am looking to buy LoTR Extended Edition as a birthday present and would love one.

    Thank you!

  • Holy shit ! Check out the Marvel sale. I can't believe what I'm seeing.

    • Marvel sale? Can you provide a link or it just random Marvel movies?

        This one maybe?

        Prices are nothing special for mine.

        • Thanks. For some reason that sale doesn't come up for me. Your right on the prices though, mehh

        • +2

          @2getted:

          Some of the prices are good for Marvel. E.g. The Winter Soldier seems to have a RRP of $45 on Blu-ray and has only started appearing for around $20 recently, currently $15.98 on the JB Hi-Fi website.

          @Marrk:
          I've already seen it for around £9 (about AU $14.50) a few times without any discounting. Although the 3D version with the additional 10% off works out at $17.99 which is pretty good but it looks like it doesn't include the 2D version.

          @2getted:

          I would say up to 1/2 price isn't even in the same realm of mehh

          Oh I forgot this is the internet.

  • I'm also looking to get a code if someone has one spare! I'm signed up to the mailing list but haven't gotten a code yet.

  • Not for 4K preorders :(

  • Would love a spare code if there are any willing donors! Thanks a lot!

    JB HiFi's system doesn't allow emails to resubscribe easily once they've unsubscribed.

  • Prices dont seem great.
    Everything I was looking at is much cheaper from Sanity online even with the extra 10% :/

  • Not gonna use my code, if someone wants it please let me know either here or pm.

  • What happened to all the movie deals. Buy 2 for $20 or Buy 2 for $30? I always look through those lists as they are usually the best value. They've disappeared. They don't normally disappear for 20% off promotions. Weird.

  • +2

    I signed up a new email and got a code within a couple of hours. People should do that instead of asking for spares

    • +1

      Mine took about 1 minute just then.

  • Surprised no one has suggested to combine this with the woolworths promotion https://www.woolworths.com.au/Shop/SpecialsGroups/catalogue#…

    Don't forget to buy the gift card via discounted e-gift cards

    • I really hate the way they keep doing these bonus points deals instead of just selling the card at a discount like the use to

    92X8U4VT4ZM6DP - extra 10% off

    Ends tonight (March 3rd)

  • What is good to get on Blu Ray these days? What TV shows do you all recommend?

    • +3

      The Wire - Every time.

  • Prices are ok compared to other outlets such as Sanity but not as big a discount as you think. The 30% discount would've been sweet stacked with the usual 2 for $20 / 2 for $30 but these have vanished.

    Bring back the BOGOF sale - who remembers that? Best sale yet only has happened once…

  • Thanks OP, purchased The Wire on Blu Ray ~$71

  • -4

    People still buy bluray

  • Purchased 9 of the Buy 2 get 1 free Bu-ray titles. With the 20% + 10% off worked out at $6.22. Just under half of the $12.98 retail it normally costs to buy each title.

    10% code seems to be the same for everybody. Checkout didn't even bother usng my 10% code when I showed her. Just used the generic generic one they had already printed out. To save them having to type in the code for each sale.
